Mr. Edonyabo Morentei Ware-Ebi has been elected as Chairman of Tuomo Community, Burutu Local Government Area, Delta State.
Ware-Ebi was elected by the delegates of the Community during the Chairmanship election held on Thursday, 20th February, 2025, at Burutu Local Government Council Secretariat.
The Chairmanship election was supervised by the Executive Chairman of Burutu Local Government Council, Hon. Chief (Dr.) Julius Takeme (JP), Vice Chairman, Hon. Chief Mrs. Georgina Eva, and attended by key stakeholders, including the Divisional Police Officer (DPO), Department of State Security (DSS), Head of Civil Defense, Chief’s, leaders of thought, independent election observers, and other dignitaries.
Meanwhile, the election was peaceful, credible and transparent. In addition, unauthorized persons were barred from entering the venue of the election.
