- As Egbo tasks Executives on selfless service
The people of Uduere Community in Ughelli North Local Government Area, Delta State, have elected and sworn in Comrade Cosmos Ejovwokoghene Onobayeka as President.
Other executive members were elected and sworn in to pilot the affairs of the Community.
The election and inauguration took place on Friday 28th November, 2025.
Meanwhile, the Executive Chairman of Ughelli North Council, Olorogun Jaro Egbo has congratulated the executives.
Egbo, is the senior Chief from Abovwe quarter and serves as the Unur’ovie (spokesperson) for Ovie of Ughelli Kingdom in Uduere Community.
He expressed gratitude to the people of Uduere community, the election officials, security agencies, and observers for their respective contributions in ensuring a free, fair, and credible election.
Egbo urged the newly sworn in Executives to serve with dedication and passion, advising them to prioritize the community’s general interest over their personal interests.
Other members of the executive that was sworn in alongside with the president are; Comr. Etu Andrew- Vice president, Comr. Egbo Vincent- Secretary, Ojiko Thamus – Asst Secretary, Comr. Itegure Oke – Treasurer, Comr. Imonikugbere Ezekiel- Financial Secretary, Egbagono and Ojarikre – Internal Auditor.
Others are; Mrs Esivweneta Victoria – Woman Leader, Uduorere John- Spokesman, Comr Nunu Samuel U. – Asst Financial Secretary, and Comr Asa Anthony – Public Relation Officer.
The Uduere community election has been judged by observers as one of the most peaceful and credible election in recent times, giving kudos to the people of Uduere ommunity for following due process in electing their representatives.
