By Clinton Awhawha

Ven. Emmanuel Azugo has advised Clerics and Christians all over the world to emulate Christ Jesus.

He said the teachings of Jesus Christ should always reflect in the lifestyle of Christians.

Ven. Emmanuel Azugo gave the charge during his valedictory sermon on Saturday at St. Paul Anglican Church, Ekiugbo- Ughelli in Anglican Diocese of Ughelli Anglican Communion with the theme, “The Beginning and the End, Text: Rev.1:8, John 1:1, 2Tim 4:7

He also charged those in positions of leadership to be faithful in discharging their responsibility, noting that there must be a good beginning and a good end.

Emphasizing the theme ” The Beginning and the End”, 2Timothy 4:7 “I have fought the good (worthy, honorable, and noble) fight, I have finished the race, I have kept (firmly held) the faith”, he said Apostle Paul charged Christians all over the world to fight a good as a good soldier of Christ Jesus.

Addressing Journalists immediately after his valedictory homily, he said, ” My forty-four years in the ministry of Jesus Christ here earth was full of challenges but in all, God saw me through all the odds”

“My 44 years, in the ministry of our Lord Jesus Christ, were full of challenges, I lost my child while on a missionary journey but we count it all joy because we believe he died in Christ as a myth”

” I urge all Christians to serve God with perseverance, faith, and holiness as there are great rewards in doing the work of God in faithfulness”.

The climax of the valedictory service was a presentation of new buildings and furniture by his son Christlike Azugo as all the children praised their father for showing them the way of Christ Jesus.
