In a gruesome manner, heavily armed terrorists groups have reportedly invaded Bwalagang village in Chibok LGA of Borno state, northeast Nigeria.
During the invasion which reportedly occurred around 6pm on Tuesday, two persons were killed while church and several houses were razed down by the terror groups identified as Boko Haram and ISWAP.
Full details about the attacks still remain scanty at the time of filling this reports, sources however alleged that one of the dead victims has eight children.
Most of the locals who confirmed the incident when contacted one phone for clarification refused to be identified for fear of vindictiveness bandits attacks, kidnapping and killings has become a regular incident.
All efforts to speak to chibok community and immediately past leader of the community failed for inability to reach the former, while the later who confirmed and condemned the attack declined comment for not permitted to speak.
An activist and indigene of the area, Rev. Kallamu Musa Ali Dikwa who earlier confirmed the attacks and killings, said the two victims have been buried by their kinsman, stating “The name of village is Bwalagang and the B’Haram terrorists burnt down almost all the village”.
He added that the church popularly known as EYN located in the area was set ablaze in an operation that took an hour.
Some of the building properties razed down by the terrorists are attached to the story as shown bellow including a cattle hit by bullets during the attacks.
