The Executive Chairman of Burutu Local Government Council, Chief (Dr.) Julius Takeme (JP) has constituted 5-Man Transition Committee in Tuomo Community, in Burutu Local Government Area, Delta State.
This was due to the postponement of the Chairmanship/Amayanabo Elections caused by misunderstanding amongst the stakeholders in the community.
The 5-Man Transition Committee will oversee the affairs of the Community pending the conduct of the elections.
Takeme also charged the Transition Committee to conduct of a free, fair and credible elections in the Community.
The 5-Man Transition Committee members are, Bar. Roland Ozidi Ombe-Chairman; Councilor Representing Tuomo Ward-Member; Mr. Okuwa Zenebor, Assistant Director, Administration -Member; Mr. Patrick Kokole, Assistant Director, Administration, member; Bar. David Otutufegha of the Legal Dept as Secretary.
A date for conduct of the elections shall be communicated to Tuomo Community in due course.
