High Chief Tunde Smooth JP, the Bolou-owei ( Traditional Prime Minister of Niger Delta) has described the death of Chief Dr. Edwin Kiagbodo Clark JP, who departed on Monday night in Abuja.
Smooth in a statement on Tuesday in Warri, Delta State, said the death of Clark came as a shock to Nigerians, Niger Deltans and particularly the Ijaw Nation.
The Chairman, SMU_TUNS Nigeria Limited, noted that Clark’ has left an indelible legacy considering his immense contribution to the peace, growth and stability of the country.
“ Chief E. K Clark OFR, CON, was a pillar and a strong voice. His leadership was exemplary and impactful. He will be missed for what he represent”
Smooth sympathized with Clark’s family and Kiagbodo Community, urging them to be comforted with the fact that Pa Clark lived a fulfilled life and also touched many lives positively.
“ We have lost a leader, and peace maker. Nigeria, Niger Delta and Ijaw Nation would certainly miss E. K Clark. May his soul rest in peace”
