A yet-to-be-identified pretty lady has mounted the Ekpan-Refinery flyover at Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State and took a dive backwards to end it all.
In a one-minute, 14 seconds video sighted by Stonix News on Saturday, passersby were seen engaging their smart phones to relive the impending tragedy.
Occupants of motorcycles and other vehicles plying the flyover ignored the lady as she inched towards the edge of the flyover, which rails had been plundered by hoodlums.
Eventually in the very eyes of fellow humans in broad daylight, the depressed fair-complexioned woman took the plunge backwards to her death.
She landed on the tarred road with her head cracked and blood spilled on the road.
In no time, onlookers increased in number and gathered to further video her as life gradually ebbed out of the woman.
In a terse post accompanying the video, the poster wrote:
“She killed herself by jumping off the flyover that leads to the refinery at Ekpan, a spot that has been quite familiar to me for decades now.
“Depression is real, and we would do well to regularly check on our loved ones, neighbours, friends, and colleagues, especially in these trying times.
“Depression is a disease that is actually treatable, and we must never, ever succumb to it.
“No matter what is happening, it is only temporary for where there’s life, there is also hope, and that is one of the great mysteries of life.
May her soul rest with Our Lord Jesus Christ.”
After landing on the tarred road with a shattered head oozing out blood, the gathering was heard, in the video, lamenting her tragic action.

Meanwhile, no official statement has been released to ascertain the identity of the deceased and her family.
