Sallah: 4,000 Policemen for patrol, provide security in Nasarawa – CP Nadada

Ahead of the forthcoming Eid El Fitri Sallah Celebration, the Nasarawa State Police Commissioner Umar Shehu Nadada has ordered 4000 police personnel on a round the clock security

This was disclosed in a press release signed by the PPRO Ramhan Nanse on Friday.

The deployment was as part of measures towards ensuring a peaceful and crime-free Sallah celebration.

“The Nasarawa State Police Command has deployed four thousand, five hundred (4500) Police operatives to provide round-the-clock security across the State including shopping malls, motor parks, financial institutions, places of worship, recreational centres, key and vulnerable points to enable holidaymakers, worshipers and the general public enjoy optimum safety and security during the celebration”

Adding that, undercover operatives have also been deployed to strategic locations for intelligence gathering, while intensive patrols will be sustained on the highways across the state for the safety of travellers.

Meanwhile, the Commissioner of Police, CP Umar Shehu Nadada psc, mni, heartily expressed goodwill and congratulated Muslim Ummah in the State as they join other Muslim faithful all over the world in celebrating this year’s Eid-el Kabir.

He, therefore, assured members of the public that the Police and other security agencies will effectively discharge their constitutional responsibility of providing adequate security for all.
