Police Parade Robbers, Kidnappers in Delta

The Nigeria Police Force in Delta State, on Wednesday, paraded suspected armed robbers and kidnappers, said to have been terrorizing the Ughelli and environs.

The successful operation leading to their arrest was made possible by the strategic deployment of the CP Special Assignment team (CP-SAT) to Ughelli.

The team showcased an impressive array of recovered arms, including AK-47 rifles, G-3 rifles, Beretta pistols, and pump action guns ¹[2).

The operation also yielded a substantial sum of #500,000 ransom money, recovered from one of the suspected kidnappers.

This achievement is a testament to the effectiveness of the CP-SAT team and their commitment to ensuring the safety and security of Ughelli and its surrounding areas.

Residents in Ughelli and environs had been subjected to cultism, armed robbery, and rape.

The Police Public Relation, (PPRO), SP. Bright Edafe, Delta State Command said the Force will continue to fight criminal elements causing nuisance.

He assured that Ughelli and other parts of the state will become too hot for criminals to operate.

The people of Ughelli are urged to remain vigilant and cooperate with the authorities to ensure that the community remains safe and secure.
