
The Executive Chairman of Ughelli North Local Government Council, Olorogun (Barr.) Jaro Movudu Egbo KSC has reaffirmed his commitment to sustainable economy and providing security to protect lives and properties in the area.
He also advocated for a peaceful and cordial relationship between communities and residents.
Egbo, gave the assurance at the Palace of Ughelli kingdom and Agbarho Kingdom respectively.
He noted that peace is priceless and no one can compromise its significant impact on peaceful coexistence, emphasizing its positive impact on economic stability.
Egbo maintained that Respect for Traditional Rulers is an obligation that transcends personal interactions, as it is also a reverence for the institution that unites us all. He urged the kingdom’s subjects to accord respect to the Royal Father.
“If you can not respect your Royal Father, acknowledged the throne, it is a symbol of authority and institution, from which we all originated, we must respect our Traditional Rulers, the Council Chairman stated.
Olorogun Jaro Egbo affirmed the backing and prayers from the Royal Fathers, stressing the need for peaceful coexistence and cordial relationships across the seven kingdoms of the council area.
In their separate remarks, His Royal Majesty HRM Prof (Evang.) Wilson Ojakovo Oharisi III (JP+) APJ Chairman Ughellli North Traditional Rulers Council/ the Ovie of Ughelli Kingdom, and His Royal Majesty (HRM) Owhe Ogugu I, the Osuvie of Agbarho Kingdom, thanked the Council Chairman for his impactful and purposeful leadership, pointing out the outstanding and legacy projects executed in his one year in office.
The reverend Royal Fathers affirmed the visionary-led administration of Olorogun Jaro Egbo KSC for his unwavering commitment to upholding fairness, accountability, and transparency in his administration, which the Royal Fathers described as uncommon leadership traits.
The council chairman was accompanied by his Chief of Staff, Prince Elvis Oharisi JP, the Principal Secretary, Olorogun Fidelis Erhiurhore, Chief Press Secretary, Mr Efe Ekete, Chief Security Officer (CSO), Mr Godfrey Esiada, Mrs Inana, PRO Ughelli North LGA, Clergymen, and a host of others.
