Chief Oghenekome Reginald Okpobor, Executive Director, Finance and Administration, Delta State Oil Producing Area Development Commission DESOPADEC, has advised Comrade Joel Emeni, President, Isoko Development Union IDU, Youth Wing and Comr. Eniwake Orogun, President, Isoko National Youth Assembly INYA, to unite and work together in providing leadership and service to Isoko Nation.
Okpobor, gave the advise in his office on Thursday in Warri, Delta State, when he hosted both Isoko youth Presidents.
Posted on his Facebook page, Okpobor said, “ Earlier today, I called the harmonization meeting between Comr. Joel Emeni, President, IDU Youth Wing and Comr. Eniwake Orogun, President, INYA because I believe Isoko is one”
He noted, “ Though we have two youth bodies, we must work together in unity for the good of all Isoko youths worldwide”
“ Leadership must lead by example. Our words must match our actions. If one group is doing something, the other must show up in full support”
“ I also invited the immediate past President, INYA, Comr. Amos Ogbokor-Etaluku and Pioneer President IDU Yout Wing, Comr. Ede-Hyacinth Eworiezi to share the challenges they faced, so the current leaders can learn and correct them”
The chieftain of All Progressives Congress APC stated, “ Now is the time to take the bull by the horns and show that unity in Isoko is not just a slogan, but a reality we live and lead”
