
The President General, lvrogbo Community in Isoko South Local Government Area, Delta State, Hon. Dr. Benjamin Essien Okiemute, has charged dredgers and wood traders operating within the community to collaborate for the growth of the community.
Okiemute, Director General of Delta State Traffic Management Authority DESTMA, said the engagement was aimed at strengthening cooperation among residents and business operators to drive sustainable growth in lvrogbo.
He emphasized that meaningful development can only be achieved when all groups embrace unity and mutual respect, rather than promoting divisions over claims of who is more indigenous than others.
The President General further clarified the criteria that qualify individuals as indigenes or citizens of a community, stressing the importance of inclusiveness and shared responsibility.
He noted that economic activities within lvrogbo must translate into tangible benefits for the community, adding that stakeholders cannot continue to prosper without contributing to its overall development.
The meeting ended with a call for collaboration, accountability, and collective commitment to the progress of lvrogbo Community.
