Nigeria Immigration Service Promotes 413 Officers In Minna

Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Niger State Command, has promoted 413 Officers.

Their promotion was sequel to the release of the 2024 promotional examination results conducted by the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Board (CDCFIS) headquarters, for senior and junior officers respectively.

Decorating the newly promoted officers at the Command headquarters in Minna Wednesday, the Assistant Comptroller General (ACG), in-charge of Zone D Ngozi Odikpo charged them to see their new rank as additional responsibilities that will motivate them to perform their duty diligently.

She posited that with their new ranks, it is expected of them to leave above board in the discharge of their duties, noting that ” to whom much is given more is expected”

She applauded the commitment of the Minister of Interiors Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo and the Comptroller General CG Kemi Nanna Nandap for facilitating the promotion

The Comptroller, Niger State Command, Alhaji Musa Shehu Ya’u appreciated President Ahmed Bola Tinubu Tinubu for his efforts and commitment to uplift the standard of the Service.

He assured that the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) under the leadership of the CG Kemi Nanna Nandap will continue to be committed to the service at all times.

He congratulated the promoted officers and charged them to exhibit a high level of professionalism in the discharge of their duty to complement their new responsibility

The Command, Head of Media and Public Relation Unit, Mallam Mukhtar Abubakar was among those promoted to the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Immigration (DSI).
