Niger State Emir Confers title on Usman, NPC’s Commissioner

The Emir of Minna Alhaji Umar Faruq Bahago,has conferred the traditional title of Ubandoman Minna on the Federal Commissioner representing Niger State at the National Population Commission (NPC) Malam Muhammad Dattijo Usman.

The new traditional title holder, a one time national vice president of Nigeria Institute of Public Relation (NIPR) succeeded his late elder brother Alhaji Umar Usman who died sometime in April, 2024.

The title of Ubandoma of Minna, according to the letter of his appointment was with effect from 14th June 2024.

The title of Ubandoman Minna was first conferred on their late Father Alhaji Usman Muhammadu Madaki. May their souls rest in peace.

The current office holder of the title of Ubandoman Minna is an educationist of note.

He is currently the Federal Commissioner representing Niger State in the National Population Commission, Abuja.

This is wishing the new Ubandoman Minna Allah’s guidance, protection and blessings in his new assignment.

May the appointment usher in new vista in the traditional and cultural development of Minna Emirate, Niger State and the nation at large.

In his congratulatory message to the new Ubandoma of Minna, the Niger State chairman Nigeria Institute of Public Relation (NIPR) Alhaji Mahmud Abdullahi described the appointment as well deserved.

He prayed to Allah to continue to guide him to give him more strength and good health to carry out his duty in his new appointment.
