The Chairman Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Minna branch, Barrister Isyaku Barau, has congratulated General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida on his 83rd, describing the former Nigeria military leader as a distinguished nation builder whose service to the country also impacted many facets of life in Nigeria.
Barau made the statement on Saturday, in Minna.
He said IBB’s leadership style as military leader left behind a lasting legacy that will stand the test of time, adding that the legal profession is among the many areas where he made a remarkable contributions to its development.
“On behalf of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Minna Branch and its members, I extend our heartfelt congratulations to our esteemed elder statesman and patriot, His Excellency Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida, on the occasion of his 83rd birthday.
“Ibrahim Babangida is a distinguished nation builder whose service to our country has profoundly impacted many facets of life in Nigeria, leaving a lasting legacy that will stand the test of time. The legal profession is among the many areas where he has made remarkable contributions to its development.
