The convener of New Associates, Barr. Alabo George Turner has announced April 26, 2025 as new date for the Pro -Wike Mega Rally earlier billed to hold on Saturday ,April 12, 2025 in Yenagoa.
Barr.George Turner flanked by the Secretary of the New Associates, Comrade Ebiladei Ekerefe and other Exco members made the disclosure while addressing a World Press Conference in Yenagoa.
He said the change of date of the mega rally was informed by advice from elders and leaders of thought due to fifth columnists who have decided to organize pro-Governor Douye Diri and RT. Hon. Aminu Tambuwal rally on same venue, date and time.
Barr. Alabo George Turner, MON who is the PDP South- South Zonal Secretary informed that the New Associates is a grassroots political movement with main focus to galvanize support for the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Nigeria.
Barr George Turner stated unequivocally that the New Associates believe strongly in the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu adding that the group would support tha president to succeed in piloting the affairs of the country.

solidarity rallies in support of their respective leaders, opting to do so on the same date and venue we have chosen for our programme.
“We are inclined to allow them the right and space to hold their events as scheduled to create an atmosphere that will enable the entire country to weigh their
capacities and acceptance among the Ijaw people in Bayelsa State.
Consequently, we have decided to hold our inauguration and mega rally on Saturday April 26, 2025, in Yenagoa.
Reacting to the People’s Democratic Party, Bayelsa State Chapter State Working Committee on his suspension as a party member, he dismissed the suspension as lacking merit, saying that the South -South Zone has overturned the suspension and also Justice Ekpo of Federal High Court Abuja has upheld his position as the authentic PDP South South Zonal Secretary,
He also noted that, he has never been served with any court judgement, adding that as a lawyer if, served he will follow the due process of the law.
He thanked their patron, His Excellency, Barr. Ezewon Nyesom Wike and the people of Ijaw nation for their interest and enthusiasm to be part of the mass movement intended at liberating the state and empowerment of the people .
