NDDC: We’ll Implement Recommendations Presented By KPMG, says Ogbuku

The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Dr. Samuel Ogbuku says the commission will implement the recommendations contained in the document presented by Klynveld Peat Marwick Goerdeler (KPMG).

Ogbuku, posted on Facebook, said, “ Earlier this week, a team from Klynveld Peat Marwick Goerdeler (KPMG) visited my office to present an advisory policy framework on corporate governance for the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), to the executive management”

“ Upon assumption of office we engaged KPMG to put together a policy document targeted at enhancing good governance structure, accountability, and ethical processes within the Commission”

According to the NDDC Boss, “ The present Board and Management of the NDDC is committed to expediting the necessary bureaucratic processes to implement the recommendations contained in the document”

“ It is our firm belief that the implementation of the policies will significantly add value to our drive to transition NDDC from a transactional agency to a transformative one”
