Monica Omonigho Benemoh Appointed Eminent Peace Ambassador

Monica Omonigho Benemoh has been appointed an Eminent Peace Ambassador by the International Association of World Peace Advocates (IAWPA) under the United Nations Peace Volunteers platform.

The appointment was conferred through a Chartered Fellowship Award, formally recognizing Monica’s role in advancing peace advocacy and global harmony. The charter grants her the rights and privileges of the organization and mandates her to function as a peace advocate and peace maker in accordance with international peace principles.

The fellowship aligns with the United Nations Declaration on the Right of Peoples to Peace (1984), reinforcing global commitments to peaceful coexistence, dialogue, and non-violent conflict resolution.

The award was sealed and signed on Saturday, 13 December 2025, by His Excellency, Ambassador Per Stafsen, JP, MP, World Peace President, Denmark, on behalf of the International Association of World Peace Advocates.

As an Eminent Peace Ambassador, Monica is expected to contribute to peacebuilding initiatives, promote social cohesion, and support programs that advance justice, unity, and sustainable peace at local and international levels.

The International Association of World Peace Advocates is an internationally oriented peace organization registered in Nigeria and engaged in peace education, advocacy, and sustainable development initiatives in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
