Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi state, has charged the new Chairmen of Local Government Councils to operate an inclusive and transparent government.
He made the call during the swearing in ceremony of the 21 local government chairmen at presidential Banquet Hall Birnin Kebbi.

The Governor noted, ” if Goodwill and a solid track record matter, I am confident that, APC would win future elections”.
Idris further rejoiced with them to collaborate with members of the State Assembly and other stakeholders to foster development in their communities.
He also presented the keys of new Hilux as official utility vehicles to each Chairman and charged them to utilize the vehicles appropriately.
Speaking on behalf of other chairmen, the Chairman of Birnin Kebbi local government, Abubakar Nayaya Ambursa, appreciated the governor and all the electorates for their supports and immense contribution for making the election successful.
It would be recalled that, Kebbi state conducted local government elections on 21st August, 2024 which saw the victory of all the candidates under the platform of All Progressive candidates ( APC)
