A chieftain of All Progressives Congress APC in Delta State, Hon. Tamarankro Obriki, alias Tamuno, has sent an important word of advise to all Ijaws in Delta State to unite and stop the unnecessary hatred amongst themselves.
Obriki, who was the APC House of Representatives Candidate for Bomadi and Patani Federal Constituency in 2023, stated this on Sunday, posted on his Facebook.
The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of OXYTANE Africa Investment Limited, in the statement said, “ Charity begins at home, going to war with a divided house is suicidal”
According to him, “ As Ijaws we should learn how to love ourselves and accommodate ourselves more”
He continued, “ We must stop clannish sentiments because that the only way we can achieve political power in Delta State. The low key hatred is too much”
Obriki’s advise becomes inevitable as the Ijaws are also a majority stakeholders in Delta State .
