Ahead of Thursday distribution of the Federal Government Free Fertilizer received by Nasarawa State Government, the Honourable Commissioner for Lands and Survey, Honourable Bala Ibrahim Mulki was in Keffi Local Government Council Secretariat to assess and prepare the ground for the Governor’s arrival ,Thursday to supervise the distribution of the fertilizer to farmers.
According to the Commissioner, his visit to the council secretariat was to meet with the executive chairman in order to brain storm and finalize preparation ahead of the governor’s arrival to supervise the distribution exercise.
” We have taken measures which will help in hosting not less than 1000 farmers who will be given the fertilizer at zero cost.
” You know here in Keffi, we have 10 electoral wards , therefore each ward will be given 100 bags of the fertilizer.We did not stop at that but have also involved the security to help us distributes the fertilizer seamlessly to confirmed farmers from Keffi” He said.
Honourable Bala Mulki , however enjoined the good people of Keffi Local Government Area to conduct themselves in an orderly manner in order to benefit from the federal government gesture .
He thanked Governor Abdullahi Sule for leaving no stone unturned as he personally goes about the supervision of the product to Nasarawa State farmers.
It would be recalled that the Nasarawa State Government received the Federal Government Free Fertilizer as directed by president Bola Ahmed Tinubu, which Governor Sule had since commenced supervision of the distribution exercise begining with Awe, Obi, Lafia and Keffi LGA is set to get her share on Thursday .
