There are indications suggesting that Dr. Louis Otuisi will likely emerge the House of Representatives Candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC) for Patani and Bomadi Federal Constituency for the 2027 general elections.
It was learned that, already, the people of Patani and Bomadi Federal Constituency are demanding that Patani Local Government should be allowed to produce the next federal Lawmaker to represent the Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives.
Informations revealed that Dr. Louis Otuisi, an aspirant of All Progressives Congress APC from Patani Local Government is enjoying the backing and support from the party, and the people.
Sources also alleged that Dr. Otuisi was getting strong support from other Ijaw Kingdoms in Delta State.
Feelers in the area indicate that money will be a major factor as any aspirant who can pay more to delegates will win APC primary for House of Representatives in the Federal constituency.
Sources further stated that the incumbent, Hon. Nicholas Mutu, who is from Bomadi Local Government will be completing his 7th term in 2027, therefore, it should be the turn of Patani Local Government to produce the House of Representatives member in 2027.
A credible source said, though other persons from Patani Local Government Area, also have ambition to contest for the House of Representatives, but majority of the people are preferring Dr. Otuisi.
There are speculations that Dr. Otuisi was also receiving strong support from his maternal Gbaramatu Kingdom in Warri South West.
