• Hails Arenyeka’s emergence as PDP State Chairman
Former member of Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Dr. Benjamin Essien Okiemute, NN RTD.(FNIIS), has commended Governor Sheriff Oborevwori on the successful Peoples Democratic Party PDP State Congress in Delta State.
Delta State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP elected new State Executives on Saturday 31st August, 2924, at Asaba, the State’s capital.
Okiemute, a chieftain of Peoples Democratic Party in Isoko South Local Government Area, who spoke to newsmen at Asaba, shortly after the conclusion of the State Congress, also congratulated Chief Solomon Arenyeka, the new State Chairman of PDP in Delta State.
“ Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has proven to be man of the people and his genuine commitment to strengthening the PDP in Delta State. I commend the Governor for ensuring that the State Congress was successful and peaceful”
The former Deputy Chief Whip and Chairman, House Committee on Security and Strategy, also expressed confidence in the new Delta State PDP State Executives led by Arenyeka to reposition the party ahead of 2027 general election.
He said Arenyeka was a tested and trusted founding member and leader in Peoples Democratic Party, noting that he ( Arenyeka) will make a difference in the affairs of PDP in Delta State.
Okiemute urged the new Delta State PDP State Executives to key into the MORE Agenda of Governor Oborevwori as Deltans were already testifying on the good works being done across the State.
The Isoko-born grassroots politician further congratulated Hon. Emma Egbabor, State Organising Secretary and others from Isoko Nation who were elected into the new PDP State Executives in Delta State.
