Executive Chairman of Ughelli North Local Government Council, Olorogun (Barr) Jaro Movudu Egbo, Ksc, has charged leaders and political leaders to prioritize grassroots engagement to strengthen the party.
Egbo gave the charge at the Stakeholders meeting of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta Central Senatorial District, held on Sunday at Conference Centre of Petroluem Training Institute PTI, Effuru, Uvwie Local Government Area, Delta State.
The stakeholders’ meeting was convened with the primary objective of fostering unity within the party, advancing political development, and establishing a robust and formidable party structure in the district in preparation for future elections.
A significant feature of the assembly was the steadfast commitment expressed by party leaders, stakeholders, and opinion leaders to consistently support the President, His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR and the State Governor, Rt Hon (Elder) Sheriff F.O Oborevwori, for their re-election in 2027.
They affirmed their unwavering dedication to fostering grassroots mobilization and maintaining a unified party, APC, within the district in anticipation of the 2027 elections.
Egbo reiterated his steadfast dedication to fostering effective leadership within Ughelli North.
He pledged to perform his responsibilities with utmost diligence and expressed his endorsement of the RENEWED HOPE for MORE AGENDA as initiated by both the President and the Governor within his jurisdiction.
The stakeholders’ meeting serves as a platform for leaders within the Senatorial District to evaluate ongoing political developments, fortify internal unity within the party, and outline a path forward for a more cohesive and well-organized party structure in the senatorial district.
