The Executive Chairman of Ughelli North Local Government Council, Olorogun (Barr.) Jaro Movudu Egbo, KSC, has expressed profound sorrow over the sudden passing of Hon. Victor Uyoh, a former Vice Chairman of the Council and an indigene of Oviri-Ogor.
Uyoh died on Sunday, November 2, 2025, after a brief illness.
He served under the immediate past administration of Hon. Chief Godwin Adode (a.k.a. Coach Tete), where he distinguished himself as a dedicated and loyal public servant.
In a statement issued through his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Efe Ekete, the Council Boss extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, the Ogor Kingdom, and the entire Ughelli North constituency.
He said Uyoh was a promising, charismatic, and devoted politician who contributed immensely to the growth and development of the local government.
“Hon. Victor Uyoh was an accomplished politician whose unwavering dedication to public service and commitment to community development remain exemplary,”
Barr. Egbo said. “He served with distinction and, until his passing, remained actively involved in the political affairs of Ughelli North. His sudden departure is indeed a heavy blow to us all.”
