The Chairman of Ughelli North Local Government Council, Olorogun (Barr.) Jaro Movudu Egbo, KSC, has congratulated Christians all over the world, particularly the good people of Ughelli North, as they commemorate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ today December 25, 2025.
Egbo, in a statement released through his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Efe Ekete, urged Christians and all citizens to embrace love, peace, and unity during the festive season.
He stressed the importance of giving and sharing, as exemplified by Jesus Christ, who remains the true reason for the season.
According to him, Christmas is a period for love, care, forgiveness, and gratitude to God for His faithfulness and blessings in our lives.
“As we celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, let us extend hands of fellowship to one another, especially to the less privileged among us, and make them feel a true sense of belonging during this season of celebration, and beyond” Egbo stated.
The Chairman, on behalf of the Ughelli North Local Government Council, wished all residents a Christmas filled with joy, peace, and cherished moments with loved ones.
He also prayed that the New Year 2026 would bring success, happiness, good health, and endless opportunities to every household.
