The people of Tuomo Community in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State, have elected Mr. Arebebe Ebiyemi as their Amananawei ( Community Traditional Leader)
He was elected by authorized Community delegates on Wednesday, 11th June, 2025, at Burutu Local Government Council Secretariat.
Ebiyemi emerged through the election directly supervised by the Executive Chairman of Burutu Local Government Council, represented by the Vice Chairman, Hon. Mrs. Georgina Eva.
Other personalities at the election were Mr. Awilly Fidelis, HPM, Divisional Police Officer, (DPO), Department of State Security (DSS), Navy, Head of Civil Defense, Supervisors, Special Advisers, Mr. Grade-One Clark, Special Adviser to the Council Chairman on Media, Mr. Philemon Yamene, Principal Secretary to the Council Chairman, leaders, Chiefs and other dignitaries.
In his acceptance speech, Ebiyemi expressed profound gratitude to the community for the trust placed in him, promising to promote peace, unity, cooperation and understanding throughout his tenure.
The election was credible, peaceful, transparent and orderly.
