The Auditor General of Delta State, Mr. Ikenna Ukpaka, and team on Tuesday, visited the Executive Chairman of Burutu Local Government Council, Hon. Chief (Dr.) Julius Takeme (JP).
The event was an official working visit by the Auditor General, Ukpaka, to Burutu Local Government Council.
According to the Auditor General, they were in Burutu to conduct a thorough assessment of completed and ongoing projects in the Local Government Council Area.
He urged the Local Government Council to maintain the highest standards of accountability, transparency and efficiency.
In a swift response, Takeme thanked and appreciated Ukpaka and his team for visiting, adding that it is a great pleasure to receive the Auditor General of Delta State and his entourage.
Takeme reaffirmed his commitment in ensuring that his administration would continue to maintain the highest standards of accountability and transparency in executing projects.
