The State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PD), Barr. Kingsley Esiso has presented the party’s flag to the Ughelli North PDP Chairmanship candidate, Barrister Jaro Egbo.
Esiso on Tuesday at Ughelli, also said Delta State is a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) state, adding that in one year there will be no opposition political party in the state.
According to him, since the timetable for the council’s election was released by the Delta State Independent Electoral Commission, the opposition political parties in the state went underground.
“The opposition political parties in Delta State have since vanished since Delta State Independent Electoral Commission released the timetable for the council elections in the state and if they dare resurface themselves during we will vanish them and those who are not satisfied with the outcome of the election should go and die.
” Come July 13, 2024, by 1pm all results for the the twenty-five council chairmen and councilors would have been released and it will be PDP all the ways”.
He described the PDP chairmanship candidate, Jaro Egbo as a man of wisdom and full of knowledge to pilot the affairs of the party in the council area.
“Jaro Egbo has the capability, ability, and wisdom to run Ughelli north council area and to deliver it to PDP ahead of 2027 general elections”.
While receiving defectors from other political parties, he assured them that the party (PDP) would give them equal treatment saying there would be no segregation between them and the old members.
Surv. Terry Noah, Barr Festus Ovie Agas, and Barr Samuel Mariere thanked the Governor Oborevwori for giving Ughelli North a vibrant and energetic candidate saying PDP in Ughelli North is very strong and is ready to win.
They said, ” Ughelli North is safe with PDP, and we are fully preparing for July 13″
