Burutu: Takeme Tasks Community Leaders On Honesty, Transparency

The Executive Chairman of Burutu Local Government Council, Delta State, Hon. Chief (Dr) Julius Takeme (JP), has appealed to elected leaders of Communities to be upright and transparent in their dealings.

Takeme gave the advise on Thursday 31st October 2024, during the official inauguration of newly elected Executives of Obotobo I Community in Burutu Local Government Council.

He charged the newly sworn-in executive members led by Mr. Ebiware Owolo, be honest and transparent.

The Council boss congratulated them, adding that their names would surely be written in the sand of time as new executive members of the oil- rich community.

Takeme emphasized that Mr. Owolo has the capacity to move the Community to the next level, having been a close ally over the years.

He promised to collaborate with the new executive to bring more infrastructural development to the Community.

The Chairman was accompanied by the Vice Chairman, Hon Mrs Georgina Evah, Bar. Roland Ozidi Ombe, Secretary to the Local Government Council and other officials of the council.
