The Executive Chairman of Burutu Local Government Council, Delta State, Hon. Chief (Dr.) Julius Takeme JP, accompanied by other prominent dignitaries attended the National Association of Burutu Local Government Students (NABLOGS)’s 6th Mega Elective Convention at OKOSU-AMA Community.
The 6th Biennial Mega Elective Convention was held on the 12th April, 2025 at the Community’s playground.
The convention attracted cultural displays, lectures and launching of Nablogs’ maiden edition Magazine entitled, IMPACT.
Speaking during the convention, the Council Chairman advised students to take their studies seriously.
He said, ” I am pleased with the way and manner the students coordinate themselves to organize this convention. Indeed this clearly indicates that you are leaders of tomorrow. The essence of all this is your dedication to academics.”
Takeme also promised to collaborate with Nablogs’ leaders to provide payment of bursaries and other benefits to students of Burutu Local Government Area.
Speaking further, he appreciated and prayed for Chief Benjamin Ekeremor for, not only hosting the event, but also for the speedy development initiated at Okosu-ama.

An Award of appreciation was presented to Takeme by the students Association as an acknowledgement of his contributions to education from the onset of his being a public figure.
