Burutu Council Boss, Takeme Presents Cars To Principal Officers

To ensure a smooth and effective running of the government, Executive Chairman of Burutu Local Government Area, Hon. Chief (Dr.) Julius Takeme (JP), has presented 4 brand-new cars to principal officers of the council.

Takeme made the presentation on Thursday, 19th June, 2025, at Bimos Hotel, Airport Road, Warri, Delta State.

He said the vehicles were provided to help the principal officers to carry out their official assignments and duties effectively and efficiently.

“The purchase of the official cars was necessitated by none availability of serviceable official vehicles for the council officials to use”

He expressed optimism that the cars will help the council officers step up their performances at their various duty posts.

“The paucity of funds cannot stop me from delivering on my campaign promises and my determination to rebuild, transform and reform the council and make life better for the people”.

Takeme stated that his mission in Burutu Local Government Council is not to amass wealth for himself, but to transform and rebuild the area for the benefit of all.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Leader of Burutu Legislative Arm, Rt. Hon. Odafe, Ekereke, expressed his profound gratitude for the chairman’s magnanimity.

Adding that the vehicle will enhance the discharge of his duties for the benefit of Burutu Local Government people.

He assured the council chairman of a robust and rancour-free Legislative and executive relationship to make Burutu Local Government great.

In the same vein, Barr. Roland Ombe Ozidi, who described the car presentation as an uncommon milestone in the history of BLG, noted that the council has taken a different shape since the inauguration of Takeme as the Executive Chairman of Burutu Local Government Area.

Meanwhile, the beneficiaries of the brand-New cars were Rt. Hon. Odafe Ekereke, Leader Burutu Legislative Arm, Barr. Roland Ombe Ozidi, Secretary Burutu Local Government Council, Mr. Awilly Fidelis, (HPM), BLG, and Chief Ben Ayaware Seikakere, Treasurer of the council.
