The Administrator of Presidential Amnesty Programme, Chief(Dr.) Dennis Otuaro in a prophetic declaration says another Adaka Boro will emerge in future, noting that late Maj. Jasper Isaac Adaka Boro lives on.
He made the assertion on Friday, at the 57th Boro day celebration, held at the Chief Tunde Smooth playground in Warri, Delta State.
Otuaro urged Ijaw youths to be bold and courageous in their pursuit for resource control.
Also, he appealed to the Ijaw people to sustain the existing peace in their communities, and described Adaka Boro as a father and national hero.
Noting that the venue wherein the event was held remains a stronghold of the Ijaws.
“We should love ourselves including our neighbors. And when we’re giving out love, we should be vigilant and protect our land”
Otuaro also said the Ijaw people should support themselves and shun troubles to their communities.
“Anytime we are peaceful, our communities are peaceful.”
He assured that the Presidential Amnesty Programme will get to the people especially the women, men and youths of the Niger Delta.
