The family of former New Nigerian Newspapers Editor, Malam Bala Mohammed, has raised alarm over the disappearance of their 22-year-old son, Abdulhafiz Bala Muhammad, who has not returned home since Friday.
Abdulhafiz, Fair in completion and tall, who was last seen wearing a maroon kaftan, reportedly left for Friday Juma’at prayers at Sheikh Gumi Mosque, Kawo, Kaduna, but failed to return home afterwards.
The family said he is a Patient battling with mental illness, a condition that has heightened their worry about his safety and whereabout.
Speaking yesterday in Kaduna, a family member said the matter has been reported, while calls have gone out to the public to assist with any information that could help trace his whereabouts.
“We are appealing to members of the public to help us locate him. Anyone with useful information should please contact us,” the relative stressed.
The family provided two phone numbers for contact: 08034507943 and 08101054412, in case of anyone with useful information about him. As at the time of filing this report, efforts were still ongoing to find the missing young man
