Adamu sponsors Quran Citation quiz in Nasarawa

Engineer Muhammad Nuraini Adamu, facilitator of “Emna Frontiers Movement” has sponsored Quran Recite and Win Challenge in Keffi, Keffi Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.

He is the son of immediate past National Chairman All Progressive Congress, Senator Abdullahi Adamu.

Participants were drawn from the 11 wards in Keffi local government, on a three days intensive Quran recitation leading to the grand finale held on Wednesday in New Keffi Hotel.

Speakers hailed the initiative and the humanitarian character exhibited by Engineer Adamu.

They said the idea will not only spur massive participation and competition amongst Muslims, but has Allah’s rewards on both the sponsor and those that participated in the competition.

The event which was the first edition from Emna Frontiers Movement was massively attended and preceded by some Islamic scholars who served as judges in scoring the best and overall winners.

In an interview the convener and sponsor Engineer Adamu thanked Allah for the idea ,enablement and turnout by both parents and children to graced the occasion.

” To quickly answer your question ,you are all aware that we just ended Eid Adha celebration three days ago.And you know that in this part of the world, Nigeria, we are religiously enclianed people and part of the motivation in the course of the celebration is that usually children are allowed to roam around on the street ” in hausa it is called yawon Sallah”

” Statistically this kind of act leads to waywardness among the youths and you know to make any difference among the youths the application of catch them young is key.To be honest with you the idea was not borne by me but some well meaning youths of Keffi,who thought it wise to approach me with the idea, so I decided to partner with them” Nuraini averred.

Our Correspondent report that the Quran Challenge and Win ended with awards of gifts to various winners and participants, in attached with cash donations.
