This article is dedicated to appreciate an Urhobo Industrialist, Chief Alfred Mrakpor, and his beloved wife, Chief Mrs. Esther Mrakpor, Managing Director of Tatcha Farms Limited.
Tatcha Farms Limited, registered in Nigeria under the Cooperate Affair Commission, is located in Okulohor Community in Okpe Local Government Area, Delta State.
Chief Alfred Mrakpor, and, Chief Mrs. Esther Mrakpor, have shown genuine patriotism and contributing to economic growth of Delta State by investing in the State.
It is said that ” A good health is life and wealth”, this is what Tatcha Farms Limited represents.
A business is set up with a vision or an agenda. Every investors or entrepreneur considers three important factors which are (a) yourself – investments and profits (b) the economy – supply chain and revenue to government (b) the people – potential customers, employees and how it will affects lives positively.
Tatcha Farms Limited, was established on these three factors, the owners invested or built the farm to make profits, to support the economy in taxes, creating employments and providing opportunities to customers.
The farm set up 15 years ago , has 63 direct workers and hundreds of Customers ( supply chain), that are surviving and earning money from the business.
However, the most important of it, is the health benefits to the society.. Products from Tatcha Farms Limited, particularly “ “Protein” is vital for human life and health.
As Chief Alfred Mrakpor will always say, “ Eat One Egg day for healthy hygiene”
Interestingly, the agro-Company, Tatcha Farms Limited, has been impacting the society through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
The donation of learning materials by Tatcha Farms Limited to pupils and educational institutions in it’s host community and environs is a commendable gesture.
Tatcha Farms Limited, is committed to food sufficiency for the society, providing quality protein for human consumption and hygiene.
