The Itsekiri leaders in All Progressives Congress APC in Warri Federal Constituency, Delta State, have endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for a second term in 2027.
At a political gathering on Monday in Warri, they noted that Tinubu and Oborevwori deserved re-election to compete 8 years in office.
Speaking at the meeting, Chief Ayirimi Emami said APC Itsekiri leaders endorsed Tinubu and Oborevwori for their excellent performances in office.
He also identified politics as the problem responsible for internal divide amongst the Itsekiri indigenes over the years.
They also passed a vote of confidence on Tinubu and Oborevwori.
A former member of the Delta State House of Assembly,Hon.(Barr.) Daniel Omayone Mayuku moved the motion for the vote of confidence/endorsement for the duo for a job well done in the past two years in office.
The motion was promptly seconded by a pioneer member of the Delta State House of Assembly,Hon. Otimeyin Emmanuel Origbo.
The member representing the people of Warri Federal Constituency,Hon. Thomas Ereyitomi who presided over the meeting.
